Default FREE black seats in SoCal

Happy weekend Everyone!

I'm in the process of sourcing black "sport" seats for my 2007, this could take a matter of a few weeks or a month or two.

Once the conversion is done I'm going to have a set (front and rear) of perfect black seats left over/taking up space (likely missing the tracks/motors or headrests?).

I have ZERO interest in trying to sell them, though I hate the thought of throwing them in the scrap bin at the local pick-a-part yard when a fellow X-Type owner could use them.

I'm hoping that someone needs a set of seats and is willing to drive to San Diego (actually Escondido), Ca and take them ('sorry; I simply don't have the time to pack them for shipping).

They're from my 2007 X-Type, the Trim Code is LEG, and they're pretty darn perfect!

First response (willing to drive to San Diego (actually Escondido), Ca and take them), get first dibs.

If I posted this in the wrong forum I apologize, and mods please move.

They sure do look nice! I will take a look at my seats in a few minutes to see if I need to replace them enough to make the trip to SoCal from the Reno area. The black might make a nice contrast with the lighter-colored interior.

When you know what your time frame is, please let me know.

No, they're in pretty good shape. I still might be interested, though, I like the contrasting colors idea. Please let me know when you're getting ready to unload them.

Please, let us know how much faster your car will drive after sport seats installation. And don't forget about trunk spoiler.

After doing the calculations, I expect it to dyno with about another 8.35 horsepower.

As far as the spoiler, I'm not sure whether to go with a Potato Peeler, or haunt the Porsche wrecking yards until I find a good Whale Tail.

I won't be needing them, so that puts you first in line.

Are there, by any chance, still available?
