Default Front door glass run channel

I need to replace my door glass run channel.
As I have a new replacement channel seal, the seal ends approx. 1" above the door lock barrel, and just beneath the door waist seal on the front.

Is it possible to remove the old run channel seal, and insert the new one without removing the door card and glass ?

I have seen a video for a different car where the new run channel was lubed with silicone grease and pushed down the channel.

Thanks,
Paul.

Default

what do you need to replace, seal or rail?
Lower glass and try to replace seal.
