Default Front door handles need adjustment??

I hope someone can guide me to a solution to this issue. When I try to open the front doors the handles seem to be engaging the mechanism only at the very top of the pull. Sometimes I have to try three or four times to even get the door open. The rear door handles engage at about a quarter of the pull. Can this be an adjustment issue. If so is it something I can do without taking the door completely off the car? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

they wouldnt cover for the 1st through the 8th only the 9th owner and past....really. A "tsb" is not a recall and its out of your pocket to fix it, also there is a repair that involves no parts or $$$$$. The rod goes into a grey and white square clip that locks it. Pull the white put back alittle to unclip the rod so it moves freely. Now pull up slightly on the exterior door handle to "preload" the assembly and push the white lock back down to lock the rod in place. Latch the latch without closing the door and pull up on the handle to check your work. If okay then close it back up. If not do it again till you get it to unlatch without u=pulling the handle all the way up. The other side will be much faster and easier
