Default front indicator fault driving me mad

Hi there I have a jag x type estate 2.0 diesel estate with a problem so any help would be appreciated.
The front passenger side indicator will not work,bulb has been changed and checked bulb holder for continuity all OK.Checked the earth to the lamp and that looks OK but can't detect 12 v to lamp when in use.All the other lamps are working fine so now stumped,advice please.

Are both front indicators using the same ground?
If not, try connecting a wire from driver side ground to pass side ground.
I assume you r talking about indicator inside the headlight

First check circuit diagrams as much of the car is negative switched so the above would cause more faults.

You had said you checked for power and there was no power on thewire for the turn signal. Have you engaged the hazards flashers and checked for operation?
If the rear light works with the turn signal then the signal stalk is operating correctly. If the turn signal lights with hazard switch then the wiring is good.
If the light doesn't work with the hazards then you need to check for a crack or break in the wire to the bulb.
If the light works with hazard then probably the fault lies with the GEM general electrical module.
