Well, it's official. I've just stepped from the VW world into the Jaguar realm (2003 x-type 2.5). I drove it home about 45 min ago.

Here goes: I'm about to change the front rotors and pads (they have waves like an ocean). If anyone has experience with this job (before I get started tomorrow or Sunday) I'd greatly appreciate any advice you may have. I already have the oem rotors/ pads in the trunk and can't wait to start.

I appologize that my first postis a "help me".I hope Iwill have discussions to offer going forward, but for now I'm just a newbie.

I can't believe I finally bought a Jag - this is going to be work..I mean fun.

Everyone - thanks! The work was complete in about 3.5 hrs (including a break for breakfast). Wow, that sounded redundant. Anyway, I appreciate your help.

Here is a shot of the finished product on my 02 X. EBC rotors, and I even got off my lazy butt to paint the calipers silver.
