Default Fueling Problem

I have an 05 Estate Wagon in central Illinois. Suddenly,I cannot get fuel to keep coming from the pump. Very little fuel (.10 gal) comes out before the fuel backs up and shuts off the pump. I looked down the fuel line to see if there was some kind of blockage, but can see nothing. Yes, I have tried different stations and pumps and always use premium. Any ideas?

jrasner, sounds like your vent valve has stuck shut and is not allowing the pressure to release as you fill the tank. If you look under the car, there will be a valve coming off of the tank (as I recall) that will vent to the atmosphere. I bet if you remove it, you will find that it is not open, allowing the gas tank to properly vent.

I would bet on the charcoal canister fix for you, but here are some others as well.
