Default Gear kicks on reverse

Hello. I drive a Jaguar X type 2004 model automatic. The issue that I am having with this car is that you hear a kick when you are change the gear to reverse. Some have said it is the engine sitting that needs replacement but I don't want to go to dealership because it is going to be expensive. The gear changes smoothly and it doesn't make any kick when I am driving. Does anyone have an idea of what might be the problem and how this can be solved?

Engine/gearbox mounts and prop shaft joints first thing to check. Any reputable garage should be able to advise.

Default Shifting clunk

I've noticed mine does the same thing. When I shift from park to reverse or park to drive it's fine. Shifting during driving is fine. Also, if I go from park to reverse to neutral to reverse there is no noise. And also from drive to park is OK. I hear a clunk (not real loud but noticeable) only when going from drive to reverse. Is this normal?
