Basically just ready to move on. It treated me well for several years and now I want to build the Maverick. It also just doesn't bring me the same excitement and energy as it used to. I don't know fully why but I know it's time! I'm hoping that all my time and money can help another member out like chknhwk or lemansracer, I know they are pushing their cars to the limits too.

Pretty much all the way. Gotta get the front subframe out to pull the headers and it also makes it much easier to pull the front sway bar out.

Did the x have a supercharger? I want one.
You doing a ford maverick or the maverick truck? I had a 72 ford in college, carried around a grease gun so I could lube the tires and burn rubber, tough but slowwwwwww car, and no reverse lockout made for a few exciting moments.
The early ones look great tubbed with a monster chevy motor up in it.

When you get the Maverick done please post here. I want to see what you do with it. Looked sweet just the way it is from what I remember.

Why don't you post your list and the prices...that might help. Maybe some photos as well.

peace out,

It doesn't have a supercharger in it, I was stacking parts for a turbo build. I have a good majority of what I needed but lacking some crucial components. The Maverick is a 73 with a factory 302 v8. Plan is aluminum heads, cam, intake, 4brl, headers to a mac pro chamber, 4 wheel disk brake swap from 04 cobra mustang, 5 speed t5 swap to floor shift, new suspension and steering all the way around with poly bushings and bilstein shocks(like I did on the jag) lowered 2-3 inches for pro touring stance, 8.8 posi rear end--unsure of gearing, staggered 17s (maybe 18s?) with super aggressive fitment probably a 295 tire in back 255 in front and a carbon fiber hood and trunk deck. All for a fraction of what I've put into the jag hahaha
