will the 2004+ front seat headrests swap into a 2002-2003?

 

Can someone with an 04+ xtype take a measurement of the front headrests from pole to pole for me so I can see if there the same for my xtype ? And also a thickness of the pole where it goes into the seat back ?

 

I have an 04 X-type and I think measurements are probably metric, I measured in inches and centers look to be about 6 15/16 and diameter looks to be about 7/16

Hope that is close enough for you, let me know if not and I will try to find a metric tape measure.

 

Thanks aznewsh, for taking the time to measure for me, i just wanted to make sure they were the same because i like the 04+ headrests better and have an opportunity to order the two front ones for cheap from a junk yard. thanks again!
