Default Hello X-Typers

OMG it's been months since I conversed with the group. Sadly, I have to say that Kitty is in another's garage now. This past weekend, on a whim, I pulled Kitty out on the driveway, put a "for sale" sign on her and went downstairs to escape the heat. A half hour later Kitty's new owner pulled up, knocked on the door and said "I've always wanted a Jag, now I think I shall have it". A brief negotiation, a bank transfer and 45 minutes later, she is being loved by someone else.

Yikes!

But what brought on that whim?

Quite frankly, I haven't been right in the head since my wife died a year ago. I've been doing some "right sizing" and my '10 Lexus RX 350 serves well as an all around vehicle with luxury, performance and utility. Of course, that doesn't mean there isn't room for an XKR sometime in the future...I'll have to keep checking back to see if someone here is parting with theirs.

I'm sorry about your loss and wish you strength. Do remember that being jagless doesn't render you unwelcome here!

Sorry to hear about your loss and hope that the future will be bright for you. It was certainly "meant to be" that someone happened to pass by so quickly and wanted your Kitty. I had a similar quick sale experience with my 1984 Pontiac Fiero Sport. I pampered that car for 16 years and in one hour it was sold. All the best to you.
