I'm going to guess that the folks who looked at the codes for you also cleared them using the same code scanner.

Jagman, based on what you are describing, it is sounding like you have a vacuum leak. I would first replace the O-rings on your IMT valves (requires an 8mm socket to remove the 2 bolts on each IMT, then you can pull off the old o-ring and put on a new one, real easy job, new O-rings are like $3 each at the dealership). After that, check the vacuum line running between the top of the intake over to the brake booster. I bet you will find that if you still have a problem after the o-rings, this will be where you will have your problem. A new hose is like $15 at the dealership.

If you are still having issues, let us know and we can take things from there.

The IMT valves are easy to find. OPen your hood, now, stand by the passenger tire as you are looking over to the driver's front tire. If you look down on the side of the motor right next to where the engine cover is (part that is nearest you), you will see 2 big black discs (about 4" in diameter) on the side of the intake. Those are the IMT valve.

As for the brake booster hose, that is another easy one to locate. Remove the engine cover off of the engine. Now, if you look at the very top of the intake, you will see a single line coming out the top of the intake and running along the firewall to the brake booster (part sticking out of the firewall just in front of where the driver sits). The line running between these two spots is the line I am talking about.
