Hi Mileage X types

Hi all, Noobie here.
Not yet owner of an X Type but seriously looking, and busy gleaning as much info as I can from these forums.

I see quite a few hi mileage 2.0D X-Types advertised. I would like to ask what sort of mileage they are good for if properly maintained?

Would a 200k vehicle be a horror story if regularly serviced?
How many miles on your vehicle?

Fronty, if the engine has been maintained, you can plan on getting atleast another 100K miles out of the engine. See what you can get the car for and then go from there. Not much that we haven't had the experience with here in fixing. Most things can be repaired fairly inexpensively. If you have a decent mechanical background, then finding a quality car shouldn't be all that difficult.
