Default Homelink Question

OK...another question. I have the Homelink system fitted in my 06 X-Type Sport. Works just fine. Up by the buttons, there is an small amber light that seems to stay on all the time. No mention of it in the owner's manual. Does everyone's Homelink have this amber light?

Hopefully, this isn't some kind of mind control device...

Thanks,

K

I wondered about it the first time, from what I understand it is just mood lighting - I really like it!

Thanks...!

Relieved to hear that its mood lighting - instead of some secret mind controller installed by the British goverment.

Just did a little more research. Amber light only comes on when the headlights (and the other interior lights) are switched on.
