Shotime92, the tank by definition is only 14 gallons. But, I think that they understate the tank some as I have been able to fit 14.5 gallons into the tank a few times with about a gallon left based on the "miles to empty". But, I wouldn't rely just on the dash telling you that you are good for so many more miles. I have never pushed my car to the point of running out of fuel. So, exactly how much it would take to top off the tank is hard to say. So, in reality, it is probably a 16 gallon tank.

The most I ever got in my 07 was about 15.3 US gallons. The manual says 16.2 US gallons total fuel capacity including a reserve (unindicated) of 1.3 US gallons.

Thanks for the response. At 89k miles now and the mpgs aren't the best I think. Guess its time for a tune up.

showtime, before you get crazy with the tune up, give the rear brakes a once over. In my playing with my car, I have noticed that the rear calipers can stick a little bit and that by using the e-brake a lot, will cause the rear pads to drag even with the e-brake released, resulting in lower fuel mileage. If you want me to go into more detail, let me know. Granted, at 89K miles, you are coming close on needing new plugs and PCV valve, so, that would not hurt either.

I usually look in the Owner's Manual for this kind of info, or Google it..
