It would help to know what EXACT vehicle you have (MAKE,MODEL,YEAR)
P0603 is for an ECM failure, not a TCM
Default Action
NONE
POSSIBLE CAUSES
ECM Failure
Could just be a power fault or wiring issue.

PCM KAM error
I just got the same code (P0603) for my 2004 XK8. Engine starts and seems to run fine, but check engine light on. Generic code says could be battery terminals or charge. Have had the car for 6 years and don't think I've ever changed the battery (have to check my records when I get home). Could this be an early indication of battery failure (happened before when I let the car sit for a while - checked the battery connections & cleared the code - went probably 6 months without light), or an ECM/PCM failure?
