IDS software V130 system requirements
I guess the google-fu is weak with this one today!
Does anybody know the minimum system requirements for the IDS software version 130?
I plan on dedicating a laptop to the task, since the USB boot drive that I was using has gone tango uniform. I still have the software, but it is a pain to reboot the machine that I'm currently using, and I figure I'll pick up an old (read: cheap) laptop with XP SP3 to run it directly...but I have no idea what the minimum specs are...except that I know I need USB2 for the Mongoose.
Any ideas?

For the 130, Dell...Those are the specs for the "ET PHONE HOME" V145 that I'm running on the Win 7 box.
I know I need Win XP SP2 or SP3, but don't know the memory or processor speed that I need...but a big Thanks, anyway!
The late-model SDD id overkill; I just need to program some options and modules, so the IDS will do the job just fine!

Found minimums in a blog post =
Unless noted otherwise by contributors, it is assumed that a PC laptop platform which meets the following minimal specs, is required ...
modest <1GHz P3 cpu, with about 1Gb RAM;
HDD of say 80Gb ... partitioned 20+60Gb ... the former for o/s and latter for data;
inbuilt SD Card Reader loaded with 32Gb micro SDs;
readily replaceable battery pack, 12VDC cig charger, and readily replaceable BIOS nvram battery;
operating system must be XP PRO SP3, (or later running in XP mode?);
software tools to include Adobe Reader, and not much else;
onto this platform, we bring our Jag diagnostic s/w and compendium of PDF reference files.
I will start to build a table of all known modules and functionality, which I will insert here as an attachment, then update by edit as contributors post.

Thanks to some great help from a forum member called bigbear, (http://www.jaguarforum.co.uk/members/bigbear/) and Police666's documentation, I now have a laptop, Mangoose and SDD V1.30 (with IDS) all working lovely. I used an old Lenovo R60 I had hanging around, 1.66Ghz centreno with 2Gig of RAM and a 60Gig HD

Kicking myself for ditching the old Dells now, but I have a line on a decent Toughbook for "cheap". I do have a clean licensed copy of 1.30 here, so we'll see how we do...everything already paid for itself on the 2002, where I actually had to flash the ECM...laptop plugged in, and a big Astron power supply floated across the battery. I was amazed at how much power the modules alone used under the SDD!
