Mayor, not to question what you got, but you mention that it came with the sport package. Based on the images that you provided, that car does not have the sports package on it (notably the color matching grille and color matching corner pieces-all are chrome in your pic). Also, looking at the height that the car sits at, it doesn't have the sport suspension on it. It may have a sporty suspension, but not the Jaguar "sport suspension". Slight difference there. Another give away is the Sport X-Types have a gray stained wood grain interior vice the brown stained interior of the non-sport cars.

But, even still, not a bad deal for that car. You be good to it and it will be good to you. If you have any questions, I am sure you will find the answer here.

You might be right - I thought the Sport Package was when you have the "S" button next to your shifter (which I do have)?

You are 100%, I do not have grey'ish colored wood on the dash, its a tan'ish burl wood.

I thought the Sports package offered the "S" button, the 17" Rims, Dynamic Stability Control - which I have all of these, so I guess they were options selected individually rather than in the actual package.

See, I'm here 1 day, and I already learned something!

Thanks for clearing that up for me!

Yea....no. The "S" button stands for "Stupendous" package...a very rare option. ;-) Actually, all of the auto trans X-Types have the S (sport mode) button. The 17" inch wheels are the base wheels as well.

Congraulations on the purchase! Great price for a mint condition, relatively low mileage car.

Nice Ride. Whatever the price, you got a nice car with alot of class and BUCKETS of style that stands out in a crowd and that you will really enjoy for a really long time - and it cost you less than the cheapest Hyundai. Good luck with her, and welcome to the JagLoversForum, MrMayor!!
