Well, so much for naysayers (article on NYT: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/12/au...ef=automobiles):

These studies seem so stupid to me. They don't even take in the severity of the problems.

Although Nissan being last seems credible to me...my buddy has a maxima and one of his windows when u roll it up it goes to the top and then autimatically lowers like 2 inches. It just won't close all the way, and his electric drivers seat does not move.

Well thats the problem with studies...all studies have to have a mean and certain things in and out of it...everything is circumstancial and all of that crap...most studies are bs no matter who does them! I've noticed that most automotive magazines are always impartial to foreign cars which doesn't make much sense to me because there are a lot of things that are nice in a lot of american cars and no matter what they always sway towards foreign cars...I say their is a conspiracy but hey thats me!

How come my list only went up to 30. I didn't see land rover even on it, nissan was last on the link I clicked.

Ken man that's so unethical...yet true. So it would be in ur advantage for jaguar's to suck, lol...

AquillI have to agree, they alawys talk bad about US cars, liek I love the mustangs that hhave been made since 2002, great cars. Alot of american cars are great, but I think all the consumers wanna read about the european cars just cuz they are more exotic then them. So they give the people what they want.
Nobody wants to read about Cougars and Taurus and Continentals. They are pretty boring, but BMW and Audi excite people

Yeah but it doesn't matter what car that the american companies put out they still bash them no matter what for the most part...Personally I like most cars in the world as long as they look good...Jeremy off top gear should definitely be a journalist for the automotive magazines!!! I still like him though!

93, I hope you laughed about the unethical part. I did when I wrote it. It is kind of funny, but I do better when Jaguar sucks. It's the Homer Simpson part in all of us. "I know it sucks for you, but I benefit. What's wrong with that?" I hope y'all know it's all in fun.

What amazes me is that this year Land Rover is out selling Jaguar over 2 to 1. Maybe the Freelander brought Rover down. Over here they missed the mark, but in Europe I understand it's a fine dependable car.

Yea I was laughing, and responding back sarcastically.

And Aquill sometimes the magaines praise american cars. I remember they had the new crown vic on the cover of one magazine a few months ago, i forget all the magazine names. Motor trend I believe it was...plus they always on mustang's nuts

I don't believe what magazines comment . Let's say when I read some comparisons between US cars and Teutonics ...I can foresee who is winner before reading the pages ! [&:][:-]

The thing is they only like one car...otherwise they bash on every one! Just like trucks...seems like they love it the first year and than hate it the next...I find it funny...I'd rather just figure out for myself...If I listened to all the negative facts about this jag I WOULDN"T HAVE GOTTEN ONE!!! For real though I wouldn't have gotten one but the price, prestige and cost of insurance had me hook, line and sinker!
