I'm a moderator on three other car forums and I just would have deleted it and the thread it spun off from on day one

Actually, we can also use X Type's Off Topic Thread which is sticky on the forum's main page .
I am locking this thread ,moving the posts after this message .That seems more feasible idea .
As for the deleting, it's an easy job but everyone should have his say of course in proper way
