Front apron for $285 isn't bad. You don't need the other pieces.

thats not bad if it comes painted..i thought it would be like $150-200 for just the front section, and figured unpainted. dont really want the rest of it

its probably going to sit on the list of things to work towards(its not even my car lol), i just ordered the tint overlays for the sidemarkers... i dont like using nightshades, i think it looks cheap, and i want them to still be legal otherwise i would just pull the bulbs and paint them to match how you did, that looks amazing ...well your whole car looks amazing.

isn't it going to look weird if you just put the front apron? I was considering buying the the front apron with the side skirt the other day, and afraid its gonna look weird.

Jeremy, you do have the rear bumper kit correct? Just not the side skirts?

EDIT: Damn it where Is the delete post button? LOL Just noticed how stupid my above question was when I just walked outside to my car and realized the obvious...

When I bought my 05 sport it was missing the front apron. The dealer ordered one for me that came unfinished, needs filling, sanding, and paint. I thought about why it was missing to begin with and figured our streets would destroy it anyway. I never installed it. They look great but hard to protect.

Mina has a complete body kit for the Estates. I would consider it if this summer I wasn't going to lower the car another inch or so. With the kit I would be scraping on speed bumps I think. I think the snow out here on the rare occasion we get it would do in a lip too.

Coward It's still a 4x4 in my (modified) opinion with H&R springs. You only need to pay attention to parking curbs and that is about it - hills and driveways are fine - with extremely few exceptions. I've been to Vancouver and one could argue the lowered car dangers are fewer than here in Washington.

I still have nightmares of my TR7, it was completely slammed, and dragged on everything driveways would scrape the end of my pipes, speedbumps was a drag front to rear.

But every X compared to yours looks like a truck running 35s

years of owning 2 different x-types with full bodykits, and lowered suspension, living downtown, and have never ripped off my front lip. plenty of distance above the road even when lowered. even had my coilover kit on my 2002 X lowered to the lowest setting and was fine. there are places that it is OBVIOUS you might need to be careful, but part of owning a modified car is that paying attention is a full time job....
