Looking for new ECM
I know of no source for a new one. The msrp for a new one was/is around $1,300 USD, the part number is
Last option of course is buy a used one. Member dr dome would be a good source as he parts out X's.
Last comment is why are you replacing it?
C2S50625 and I'm pretty sure they are Denso brand. Jatco is the brand of transmission.
There are rebuilders like precision ecu where you can buy a completely rebuilt and warranted unit (around $600 USD) with the requirement you send your old one in as a core. There are also several other rebuilders in the U.S. and Europe where you send your unit w/keys as I recall and they will fix it.Last option of course is buy a used one. The unit suffered corrosion, thus the transmission shop will have to send it out for servicing. Do you recommend I sent it to the fellow in mid-west (Chicago) or do you feel there is a comparable service location? As always appreciate your valued input.
Just in case that you decide to opt for pre-owned unit this might help.https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ype-tcm-25275/
Though I've never dealt with him; Dr. Dome appears to be the go to guy for pre-owned X-Type parts.

I'll give it one last shot. You asked about an ECM by Jatco which the ECM is Denso. You then cite "The unit suffered corrosion, thus the transmission shop will have to send it out for servicing."
Why would a TRANSMISSION shop be looking to replace an ECM?
Given this info of your posts I think you are looking for a TCM (transmission control module)? Which is Jatco, btw.
If indeed it is the TCM, look up module masters in Idaho who fix/rebuild X TCUs.
