matl, as long as it is the full synthetic stuff, go for it. that is the stuff that I have in my car and my truck.

Great thanks guys! Case is currently at a tranny shop, it gets disected tomorrow and the owner who is a personal friend is going to attempt to replace a the bad bearing. Fingers crossed he can match up the part. I have the Mobil 1 because on my way home from buing it to do the flush the TC went out.. Ironic

Hope it gets fixed up good..I've seen a couple people here in the past that replaced the bearings and stuff with good parts matching..But at least now you'll get it completely cleaned out and fresh Lube added too..good luck.

Thanks, mines an 02. Do you know if the newer 04+ cases would match up?

matl, yes, the 04+ ones will bolt right up. The issue between the earlier ones and the revised ones is the older ones (02-03) tend to have more shifting of power associated with them and therefore seem to do better in foul weather. But, in the correct hands, both will do a good job.

Thats good to know thanks, would it be advantageous to get a newer one? Appart from it having less miles, is it more resiliant? thanks again
