Default Name this hose

Hello all, I'm coming back to the huddle to ask for help finding the name of this hose on my 2003 x-type. The hose comes from the t-fitting between the coolant resevoir & the water distribution pipe that is under the intake manifold(I'm assuming). The hose in question runs under the car but I can't see where it goes. It now has a hole in it & I need a new one ASAP. I have included a pic showing the hose in question unattached.

You didn't say that it went toward the rear wheels. You just said it ran under the car.

It's the return hose from the heater to the main cooling system. It doesn't go under the car, it comes from the firewall.

If you fabed a new hose, did you run it from the heater core outlet down at the bottom of the firewall? if so, how did you get at the core outlet pipes as the appear inaccessible to me?

regards,

Gene
