So i got the common black screen with the 50 and 51 on the temperature screen so after reading the forums i needed a new DVD disk so i bought one on Ebay part number 1X43-10E898-BH sure enough the Jaguar Leaper came up with a hour glass soon i got this screen message "Communication Fault" so do i need a new DVD reader or i got the wrong DVD?

 

Well I guess I am going to change the DVD driver and see what happens?

 

This happened to my 2006 x type, I disconnected the battery (make sure you have radio code) leave for 10 mins reconnect, reload dvd, and all was well. Hope you get some joy
