my jag xtype 2002, is giving me trouble i put on a computer and it gave me these codes p1000, p1647 it couldnt tell me the problem with my car, can anyone help me

 

Fault description:
ECM HO2 Sensor control
malfunction –
bank 2 upstream (2/1)
default action:
ECM Default:
– HO2S 2/1 control circuit
inhibited
possible causes:
HO2 Sensor 2/1 heater failure
HO2 Sensor 2/1 sensing circuit:
short circuit to ground, short circuit to
high voltage, open circuit
ECM Failure

 

P1000 = OBD Systems Readiness Test Not Complete

P1647 = Linear O2 Sensor Control Chip (Bank 2)

thanks for your help guys looks like its a job for a jaguar mechanic

 

Chances are it's only a bad O2 sensor, so simply changing the sensor on the 2nd bank would do the trick.
