Default Need to identify a part and where it goes?

Hello everyone, I have a 2003 X-Type 3.0 AWD with automatic transmission.

I recently removed the Center console and Instrument Panel and found a part *1X4H-19C734-AA* that is connected to the wiring Harness, but looks like should fit somewhere, but don't know where or what is for.

I'm posting 3 pictures of the Item

Appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks.

That part is your aspirator/in car temp sensor. Its part of you automatic climate control- it sucks air in through the little 1''X1'' vent to the right of your steering column. You could test to see if a new one has been installed and the one you found was left behind by cranking your car, turning on the air on auto, and putting a small torn off peice of paper the size of the vent in front of it. If it holds the piece of paper to the vent, all is well.
