Default New radio installed

Just got my aftermarket radio installed and am very happy to have pandora and iPod back for music installed a new 5 channel alpine amp and a type R 10 sub and it sound great here is a pic of the radio install

The amp was installed in the factory amp location I'll post the amp install pics tomorrow

I certainly hope it sounds better than it looks. I would paint that surround to match, or cover all of the gray/black sections with carbon fiber.

Nice, mine looks kinda similar.

You should've bought the grey harness, not the black.

Yeah that's my next task is to paint to match I Have a partial roll of a carbon fiber over lay from a job so I think that's what I'll do but yeah your right

Now explain that wire sticking out please. Why after doing a clean install wouldn't you have that running out from the back?

Well, it's still not a 100% match, but unless there's direct sunlight hitting it, it's hard to tell.

That's the mic wire...that picture is a bit old, I've since then hidden the wire.

Good, looked tacky hanging out like that. Did you check in the ceiling console for the stock mic setup, 50/50 chance it's there.
