Default Noise

Hi, Hope someone may have had a similar experience to mine and the answers. I have a Jag X type which has done about 90,000 miles. Reg'd in 2008. Diesel 2Ltr manual.
I recently had the clutch and flywheel replaced by Jaguar. I've no idea if that is any pointer but I now have a loud, constant whining noise audible over the top of the normal engine noise. Best description I can come up with is sort of like the noise you get just before you change gear up. That may be a coincidence. I don't know. It could also be described as being an electronic sort of humming noise over the top of the engine noise. It is not audible outside the car when stationary.

Anyone any ideas please?
Many thanks

neilwills, I've moved your post from the general tech section to the X-type section where it will get more visibility and members with the same model may be able to offer some guidance.

Also - I see this is your first post, so when you have a moment, please stop by the new member section and post an intro.
