Ooops! Axle Broken

driver side is fine. its the long shaft that you have to worry about. There is a one way seal inside the trans and if you don't hold the spring clip down when removing it, it will tear the seal. driver side no worries. pull out and replace. when you pull it you will loose some trans fluid. I would just let it all drain out and measure it. Then put fresh oil in. (same amount that came out.)
Good Luck,

This info is all in the large file download area.
The easiest reference I remembered was in the TSB for gearbox removal.
Look on page 12 of the document. ONLY remove the outer CV halfshaft.
DO NOT REMOVE THE LINK SHAFT that goes THROUGH the transfer case!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The gear box is JAPANESE so it uses CV axles like most Asian cars do.
The axles POP-OUT and pop back in.
I use 'axle-poppers' but you can buy the Jaguar Tool. It will be harder to find and EXPENSIVE.
