My car was stuck on the fastest lane on the freeway and when I stepped on the pedal the RPM would move but the speed of the car was going slower. So I released the pedal let the car roll for a bit and stepped on it again. Car would constantly jerk when i step on the pedal. Made my way slowly and surely to the road shoulder and had the car towed to a workshop.

LO AND BEHOLD.. a smokin' coil, literally. Plastic had melted right through and the sparkplug was glued stuck into the inlet. I don't know how common this is but I thought everyone should know about this. Really did not expect this to happen as I just changed all my coils and plugs about 3 months ago... I will post pictures if anyone wants to see them.

 

what brand of coils did you buy?
