Question

RE: Question
actually I like that there is now way to get into the trunk from the inside. Especially if you park your car in a public area for long periods of time such as the go station. If someone breaks into your car they cannot get into your trunk... providing you do not have folding rear seats which, I do not, so I never have to worry about my golf clubs being in my trunk when I get back.

RE: Question
i really wish there was another way to "pop the trunk/boot" than the key fob or the button. Like when i drop a buddy off at home and his stuff is in my trunk i can just pop it and not explain to him how to push a button.
one time the button was frozen so i had to crawl in through the back seats

RE: Question
I find it pretty useful but you can still have it as a custom job .I browsed ebay a few weeks ago for remote trunk release systems and came accross some aftermarket releasingstuffs .So once it's wired to where it should all you have to do is to press the button and hence get it opened lol

RE: Question
about once a week.. for no reason that I can find. my trunk release goes dead. Both the key fob and the button do not respond.
I have checked the flap on the ignition switch, and it is fine. the doors and alarm still lock/unlock - arm/disarm. Just the trunk dies. every time it happens I just put the key back in the ignition and cycle it to position 2 and back and the trunk release come back to life.
Strange.. anybody found a root cause for this?

RE: Question
A boot release button would have been a godsend when I locked my keys in the boot the other year.
