Radio Code

Hi all just posted this in wrong section stupid me.Been getting grinding sound on starting and my worst suspicion confirmed this morning when car would not start.Its a 54 x type 2.0 sport and the starter motor was goosed but my mobile mechanic had it towed from the drive and repaired in 4 hours good job.
However code needed for radio and have searched everywhere but cant find it.
Is there an easy fix for this?
Pleased if anyone could assist in my problem.

Pete,

If you ask nicely at Stratstone Jaguar in Houghton-le-Spring, they'll look up the security code for you.

Possibly need to provide proof of ownership if you haven't dealt with them before.

Last resort. Go onto ebay and buy a U.S. spec radio. We have no codes.

If it is the original radio

" Enter any code 3 times so that the display shows "PLEASE WAIT"

Simultaneously press ">>" "PTY" "A.MEM" should only take 2 or 3 seconds and the radio turns on "
