Default Re a warning to others

Hi Folks, here is an update about the refund that i was promised about my dash kit that i ordered from lgt automotive in good faith, please note that the admin has already warned me about naming this company on a forum but i feel that i must show everyone this as follows - as this is the reply that i recieved after waiting weeks for my refund as they didn't deliver and now it looks like iv'e just lost £265.00 with these people and have been ripped off so if you want a dash kit then go elsewhere.

Ferret

I had a similar problem some months back. Not with this vendor but an individual from Germany that never sent my parts. Paypal found in my favor but of course there were no funds in his account.

I looked at the vendors site you mentoned. I see you lost over $300 well to make it worse they now offer the kit you ordered for $171 .

Not That I will buy a damn thing from them after your experience.

Sorry to hear that you've had such a bad experience and that appearently PayPal can't or won't help you.
I can only simpathize with you, because I, as yet, haven't had this experience. I've used PayPal to pay for purchases in New Zeland, England, Canada and many different states here in the US and I guess have been lucky to have never had any bad experiences. I've done returns and cancelations of orders and these were always taken care of by PayPal, quickly and efficently. Ofcourse, if in the future I do encounter a problem with PayPal not honoring their promise of protection, I'll immediately stop using them and go back to dealing directly with individual companies as I did before PayPal. This way I can deal with them through my credit card company and dispute the charge. I don't know, maybe you could try this with your problem now if you paid PayPal with a credit card that's not theirs as I do. I don't use PayPal's card or my bank account, instead I use a free standing credit card where I can dispute any payment.
