Default is this the rear diff drain plug?

I am in the process of changing every fluid, was able to find good threads with picture locations of everything but the rear diff, pictures were detected from host server.

Sorry for the terrible angles, these were taken as if one were standing behind the car, looking towards the hood

liquid, unfortunately, there is no drain plug. So, you are going to need to get some sort of suction pump to pull the old fluid out. You can pick up a cheap hand pump for around $15 to get the job done. Unfortunately, that is the reality of the situation since the rear diff is "filled for life".

Default Drain and fill,

I drained and filled mine. I just got a cheap hand pump from HF and put in Royal Purple 75-140, works well. Stinky but easy job.

Yes, I read the wire up, I have a decent pump that i used for t case and transmission, just wanted to make sure that was the plug I was after. It seems kinda high to be a drain, and low to be a fill, but it does have the same 3/8 plug that the transfer case has.

Thanks guys
