Rear hub bearings and tools needed

I am thinking of replacing the rear hub bearing assemblies and brake discs on a 2004 2.5 X-type and am trying to check that I have all the tools needed. I see from the JTIS CD that the ABS wheel speed sensor will need to be removed and that the bolt appears to be torx or similar. Does it require a special tool or just a torx or other proprietary socket? If the latter, does anybody know what size? I am thinking of trying to remove the hubs with a large Sykes Pikavant 3-legged hydraulic puller (of good quality), but wonder if I need the bolt-on type puller instead. Clarke sell a cheap one for 5 stud hubs. Grateful for any tips.
they usually come out pretty easy .. never used a puller on the x type .. always had air .. either torx 30 or 40 can't remember .. then you need i think a torx 40-50 to remove the bolts that hold in the hub.. the socket goes thrubiggest hole, same holeto remove the bolts.. then you wud turn it for the next bolt..

Thanks for the tips. Just one more naive question.I was a little surprised at how tight the JTIS CD said the main hub nut should be on replacement. Is doingthenutup tight, and locking it,all there is to re-assembly? I was thinking about bearing end-float and the risk ofdamaging bearings through over-tightening, but I suppose that with an integrated hub assembly this is all taken care of. Or is it?

since I am on front wheel bearing #7 and the original rear ones.. I cant imagine which end of the car is more likely..
when they get bad enough, you can wobble the wheel when you jack it up.. that is how I normally tell for certain which one is bad.

you can mark it i guess. but there is no adjustment or anything.. just tightened to spec or as tight as you can get it..but no to tight..

The JTIS CD says the nut connecting the hub to the half-shaft should be torqued to 330Nm (about 243 lb-ft). Does that sound about right? The other thing that occurred to me which isn't on the CD is that I presumably would need to put in grease. Or are these hub units pre-greased? Thanks for your input.
pre greased and sealed.. one piece unit... it will make sense when you see it.. 243 lb-ft is about as much you can possible tighten it by hand and sume leverage.. or mark it as a reference
