Default Rear Shocks and stuff

I noticed the Jaguar felt out of shape when I went over bumps, felt like it was from the right rear. I suspected a shock going bad and I was correct. I purchased two from FCP and replaced them which did fix the issue and yes the passenger side shock was weeping oil and going bad. Easy job.
What I also noticed was the rubber lower insulators and bump stops had deteriorated and must be replaced. A pick of the bump stop is included.

I would assume they are interchangeable but not sure about the lower spring insulators I will find out tomorrow. I hope they are still available.

Mr rx-7 tt, the bump stops and spring insulators should be interchangeable from side to side. There is no reason for them to be different. Get 2 of each and call it good. Shouldn't be that bad of a job at this point as you have the bolts free on the shock. You will need to disconnect one end of the shock to let the suspension droop enough to get the spring out. That is unless you have a spring compressor and plan on using that to compress the spring some to aide in not having to drop the suspension as much.

FYI, those bump stops (jounce bump stops - pretty weird name) just locate by pushing onto a bulb shaped mounting pin...no fastener to undo.
Just pry them down to release and push the replacement up until it seats over the bulb.

Replaced the rear suspension parts, needed to be done. I noticed my rear sway bar link rubber seals had started to split so I am going to replace the links. I also want to replace the bushings with poly bushings but not sure if my rear sway bar is 20mm or 22 mm. I guess I'll measure tomorrow.

I would suspect most of the X-types on the road currently have worn out and disintegrating isolators and bushings like this. My car has roughly 90,000 miles and was a hanger queen for most of the cars life.

Next on the car is the right front bearing which seems to be going bad. It is making a" thump", "thump" sound, not a typical rumble but I swapped tired front tire to back and back to front and no change. The axle boot is still good so I doubt it's the axle. Little issues are biting me in the azz lately. LOL.
Ordered the lower radiator hose as that is slightly leaking too.
