I've been looking into transmission fluid, I'm thinking doing it myself considering the shops I've called want $400 - $600 to flush and fill and I can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on a fluid change. Has anyone tried the Redline D4 automatic transmission fluid? And if not what have some of you used and where did you get it?

Use whatever fluid is compatible with a JATCO JF506E (same as some VW Jettas, Mazdas & Land Rovers).

I use Castrol Import Multi-Vehicle in the VWs (09A gearbox).
