New to this forum. I have a 2003 Jag X type. The drive shaft is loose and the shop told me I have to buy the entire shaft and that the bushing cannot be replaced independently. Was also told the shaft has to be completely replaced as one piece, that it does not separate into 2 pieces.Can anyone help me with this?

 

Do a SEARCH for instructions, part number on how to remove and replace the carrier bearing only.
