So I am trying to help a friend out who accidentally reversed the jumper cable on 06 jaguar x-type (x400). The vehicle will not start and is show several codes such as P1638 - Can link engine control module/ instrument circuit. P1793 - ignition supply malfunction 167 V. There is a lot more from there but where should we start to get the car running again.

The engine turns over and doesn't fire off.
The large touch screen radio doesn't turn on and the climate control doesn't work either.
We have also replaced with new battery and check that it was good as well.
there are now fusesblown in the engine bay.
no fuses blown in lower driverside fuse panel.
