thanks for those who replied. It's good to see I'm not the only one who doesn't know (or want to know) the extent this rust issue is heading. It's driving me crazy that my showroom condition '03 X-Type is rotting from the inside out as we speak. I got nowhere with jaguar or the dealership.... any other suggestions ???
