Default A sad day in history..

Yesterday I traded my Jaguar X-Type in. It was time to switch it up and get out of having a manual trans car for my daily commute. The traffic I sit in was killing me with a manual trans car. And this is the first time in 15 yrs that I have an automatic car as a DD, always preferred manual over autos in the past. I have nothing bad to say about my X, it served me well for the 4+ yrs I have owned it. Never left me stranded, got me through the bad weather without incident and always looked good doing it.

If Jaguar pulls the trigger and makes another baby Jag like they are taking about, then I could see myself in another down the road.

What did I get you ask?? A very nice Impala SS, white/tan leather, sunroof, v8 power and a host of other goodies.

Ill still check up on here to see whats doing...

Hey Pete, sorry to lose you as a Jag owner, but respect your decision and kudos for your compliments on the X type!

As a valued and regular member here I'm sure I speak on behalf of all when I say I do hope you drop by from time to time and say hi, maybe chime in the odd thread?

Why not post up some pics of your new baby in the other cars section and show her off??

All the best

I appreciate your behavior . It's like gone but not fotgotten . What's even nicer you didn't leave the forums because you are no longer a Jag owner .
Your impala is a dandy ride but I honestly prefer B Bodies with LT1 engine . I saw some X Type upcoming concepts on the magazine but you will have to wait for it to hit the market

Hey Pete

I'll miss your posts. Good decision though, I cant imagine my commute with a manual tranny.

Cheers, and good luck!
