Lightbulb Suspension HELP!

Hey Guys,

I need new shocks however a drive a 2002 FWD 2.1Litre X-Type (Non- Sports) and have been really confused as to what I can use. I really want to switch to a sports shock which is a bit firmer.

The options I am looking into are as follow.

1. Bilstein Heavy Duty Shock(can only find AWD)
http://www.eshocks.com/bil_veh.asp?M...tein&SubChar=Q

2. OEM Sports Shocks (can only find AWD)
http://www.britishparts.co.uk/.sc/ms...ABSORBER-FRONT

3. Sports FWD Shocks
Part: W0133-1605430
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sh...ar/x_type.html

Pretty much I want to know if I the above options will fit and work. Or if anyone has any other suggestions?

Cheers,
Davis.

To add a bit more to UFO's comment
There is little weight difference between FWD and AWD thus the tuning of shocks would be little different if at all. The component weight that AWD addes may mount to 150 pounds distributed front front middle to middle rear of vehicle. Thus I would expect the shocks to be interchangeable. In which case I too would go with the Bilsteins.

Thanks for the replies.

So to confirm, I am able to use the Bilstein AWD Heavy Duty Shocks on my FWD Non-Sports X-Type.

Does anyone know a good supplier that ships to Australia?

Cheers!
