Tail Light Wire Harness Issue

Tail Light Wire Harness Issue
2002 X-Type
Hello everyone. A few months ago I noticed some weird electrical problems happening in my car.
-Rear parking assist goes off even when car is not in reverse
- Fog light symbol on instrument cluster stays dimly lit and becomes fully illuminated when brakes are applied
-3rd brake light blinks as if it were a turn signal
-Turning on the right turn signal causes the left to blink (and vice versa)
After doing some searching I found that a faulty ground wire leading into the tail light housing is usually the culprit. So after removing the wire harnesses on the tail light houses, I noticed the ground wires (black one) melted the plastic on both.
I was able to find the connecters online for about $100 each, but I decided not to order them at the time. However, I would like to fix this issue now but can no longer find the part online! I called my local Jaguar dealer and the parts dept couldn't find me a part number for this wire harness either. There is a Ford logo on the harness and a number, but it doesn't show up on either the Jaguar or Ford part lookup.
There is another post on the forum describing this issue and Thermo gave a solution to fix it using clips bought from a boating store, but I don't feel comfortable trying it. I would rather just get two new connectors. Does anyone know where I can buy these parts? Any help is appreciated.

SFlip, if you can not get them through an online source, then your next best step is to stop by a local wrecking yard and seeing if you can talk to them about buying the rear harness for an X-Type. You may be able to get away with something for say a Mazda 3/5 or a Ford Escort/Focus. But, you would need to do some careful looking. The plugs may be the same. Then all you would have to do is to match up the correct color wire with the correct pin on the plug. Just a warning, it is more than likely going to cost you the same whether you take the whole rear wiring harness or just cut off the 2 plugs. When you cut off the plugs, you have made the harness essentially worthless to the wrecking yard. So, they are going to get their full money out of you.
If you need a recommendation of a wrecking yard that will help you out, let me know. I have used on from out in Buckley WA and they have been good to me.
P.S. Welcome to the Forums. I think you will find that this forum will be very useful to you. So, stick around, see what else we have and you might learn a few things about your car.

ok I see he is having a none working tail light issue. Well I have an intermitten lighting issue let me explain:
I have a 2004 Jaguar xtype. I love my black beauty but this is my issue. When the HID lights are on the rear lights are weird acting. The right blinker is on in front and on the side marker is on but the left in the back same with the left. The tail lights also blink and the rear High light does as well. This is only a problem when the brakes are applied and when the Headlights are on. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or is it just my car and yes it is factory HIDs not aftermarket.
Oh and it also takes blinks fast like a light is out... but they arent blinking fast outside just the inside indicator

Albert, PM me your e-mail address and I will send you the diagrams for your car. You can also pick up the whole service manual for your car above in the Sticky Notes at the top of the page. I ask for the year of your car because there are 2 different sets of diagrams that have fairly significant changes made in the mid 2004 year. This is why the question about the orange wires cannot be answered quite yet.

I'm looking to buy that part from you. Having a similar issue with my car. I'm looking for the light harness for the right rear tail light.
