I didn't want to retain my own problems either that's why I got a new one - no issues so far.

I was planning on posting an update when I hit the 1000 mile mark. I've been using the car exclusively and have racked up about 800 miles. No issues.
Cujet, was it u with the low idle and using left foot braking to keep the revs up?

Hi Fellas, I've been having similar issues with idle running up and down btwn 1500 & 2000 rpms, jerking when I drive etc. I am picking up a new throttle body today, paid $950.00. Prior to this I searched for vacuum leaks and cleaned the existing TB, but no change in behavior.

Question: Is there a "Learn" procedure to be done after installing the throttle body? Something to get the ECM and new TB acquainted...

Default vacuum leak

I had a similar issue a while back, i ended up finding a hairline crack in the brake booster check valve that would open up under deceleration or acceleration. Caused the same problems, bucking included. I changed the booster check valve and O-rings at the same time, it was fine after that.

Regarding the TB, mine failed , but symptoms were not what u described. Replaced mine with a rebuilt TB and its working fine now, 2500 miles later.

No "learning" procedure required, just bolted it in. Mine was rebuilt so had to tweak the idle a bit by adjsuting the Tb sensor but i dont think you'll need to do that with a new one.

Whats codes are u getting?? In both cases i was getting codes that were appropriate to the required repair.

Mimmo, I had a CEL and I was getting P0507 & P0456. P0507 comes up as "Idle RPM higher than expected" with the culprits listed as Intake air leak, crankcase breather, dirty throttle body, or throttle body failure. P0456 is loose gas cap or EVAP canister leak etc.

I looked for vacuum leaks on every thing that connects to the intake manifold with a spray can of carb cleaner while listening for a change in idle speed. I also replaced the crankcase breather valve, and cleaned the TB with 1/2 can of TB cleaner, and replaced the O-ring plastic inserts that connect the brake booster lines to the manifold with no improvement! I finally went to the dealer and they said it was the TB and they wanted $2,300to replace it. But I found a new one for $1,000. I'm going to install tomorrow.

I've been scouring the threads here for a week and sometimes this high idle and bucking bronco effect is an easy fix, and then I see a lot of people have had to replace the TB, and it ain't cheap! My car has 104K miles, so I guess it's time.
