Default "transmission fault" car wont start

I just replaced my low beam bulb. When I did, i took the battery out and the basket it sits in. Put everything back when I was done, and now when I try to start the car it won't start and the message centre says "transmission fault"

We are going to have to defer to Thermo on this one.

Just wait a bit, he's thinking the solution out, I betchya.

His answer will likely be "spot on"

No comment from the Master yet, eh?

Get under the hood again, and look closely at EVERY wiring connection, plug, cable, just spend an hour and look at everything. Study everything you see, and look for something out of place.

Personally, I think you just accidentally caused something to unplug. Jiggle everything, spray a shot of WD-40 on and into all the wiring connections, etc.

Hey - are you sure the battery cables are on the right posts?

It's bound to be something quite simple, and likely free to fix.

Let us know what you find!
