I recently put a new front axle in on the passenger side. I had some fluid come out, it's dark and looks like it should be changed. Now I have a small leak coming out of the seal on that side. So I know I'm going to loose more fluid, putting the seal in. My questions are:
1. How much Trans fluid does the trans take, with or without the convertor?
2. What kind of Tranny fluid does it take, I was reading it has to be special fluid but no idea what kind. Dextran or Dextran 11 or what?


Thanks everyone for your help, if there are other things I should know please inform me. One other thing, under the battery is a very small cap is that were you put the fluid in? Where do you drain it from I couldn't find a drain plug.
