Hi all,
My Jag's manual transmission is shot and on this forum i read that the gearbox fited into the car from the factory is just barely enough for the 3.0l and as I am looking towards adding a turbo to my car i think an upgrade is in order. So what other transmissions would fit? How to size a transmission that could fit? Is it as easy as having the measurements and engine connection match?

 

The 3.0L Jag engine in these cars is the same-ish as the Lincoln 3.0L of the same time frame so I would look for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury transmissions.
