I have been trying to fix up an 02 Jaguar X type AWD wit a 2.5L V6 and I am down yo the last repair ( I hope). The drivers side rear ABS reluctor or speed ring is broken and I have removed all the parts. I am trying to find a replacement but, what I have found so far is overseas shipment or something that may or may not fit.

Is there a good source for the parts, or is there another compatible model to look for.

Any help will be appreciated.

 

Hank, while I will admit that it is a more expensive route to go, probably a better route if you ask me. You simply need to order a new half shaft for that side of the car. Sure, it is not a $5 fix, but with as many miles as that are on the car, this will be a good investment in the car to ensure it will last for a long, long time. The new half shaft will have the reluctance ring already installed for you.

 

This price boggles my mind, full shaft vs just reluctor ring half shaft, smh...
