Turning Off the DSC

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum as well as a new Jaguar X owner.
when I turn off the DSC does that turn it into a 2 wheel drive.

Nope you cant turn off 4x4 ever !!! its a permanent AWD system . & Hello & welcome to the site !! Oh if you have a 2.0 litre V6 X type ---it doesnt even have 4x4 ....Not sure if the 2 litre was even sold in USA...

2 liter was never sold in the US....only 2.5 and 3.0.....which were full time AWD

you cannot make it 2wd

And to the mysteries of Jaguar Dynamic Stability Control!

DSC controls the ABS (Antilock Braking System), Traction Control and Yaw Control systems. It is designed to make the vehicle go in the intended direction by reducing power output and applying braking pressure to individual wheels to prevent wheelspin and correct sideslip or understeer/oversteer.
