typical life?
Hey everybody, I have a pile of things I would do to my new(to me) 2003 x-type 2.5, 5speed manual with 120,000 miles. I'm doing necessary things like replacing those frozen parking brake cables and calipers but I'm thinking about roof rack/ trailer hitch, and I know it needs several suspension bushings replaced before I'll be able to do an alignment, as well as needing front CV boots replaced sooner or later. I'd do all these things if the cat will last me till 180,000 miles or something like that, but at what point do these cars become more upkeep than its worth?
Thanks and I look forward to everybody's comments

Mine has 188k miles on it. Runs great. There is a thread on here about mileage and you'll see that many cars are past 150k with no major problems. Take care of it and it will take car of you, just like any other car.
I am nearing 160K miles and while my car is starting to show its age, nothing that is too expensive to fix. But, like was mentioned, you take care of the car, it will take care of you. You abuse it, it will abuse you back.
